Our North Qatar tour brings the three landmarks that define this region into one trip: the coastal town of Al Khor, the Al Thakira mangroves, and Al Zubarah, Qatar's only UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Over a half or full day, a local guide takes you from Al Khor's harbour and watchtowers to the tidal channels of the mangroves, where herons stay year-round and flamingos arrive in the cooler months. The full day adds the drive further north to Zubara Fort, the best-preserved old pearling town in the Gulf. Pickup is included from your hotel across Doha, or from Hamad International if you are on a layover.
